Trademark Logo

Some of the most famous logos include uniquely scripted Coca-Cola mark, the blue and white striped IBM mark and the brown UPS shield mark. These widely identifiable logos all needed to be trademarked. Registering those trademarks is also a wise idea and that goes through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO.) This can be a lengthy and expensive venture. Although the assistance of an attorney who specializes in intellectual property matters is useful, you may apply for a trademark on your own. The one thing you must do before applying with the USPTO is conduct a search of already registered marks to make sure the one you wish to register does not already exist. Once you are sure you're mark is unique, you may then submit an application, which will also include a depiction of the mark and the specific goods and services provided in association with the mark. The application may be submitted online through the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) or by mail.
